Thank you for your support!

Church of Our Lord is an active Christian ministry in downtown Victoria, supported by prayer, worship, volunteering and financial giving. There are many ways to support the work of the Church financially.

- At a service, an offering may be left on the collection plate using weekly envelopes, cash donations, or one-time envelopes. A terminal is also available at the back of the church for credit/debit card donations.

- Online gifts (one-time or recurring) may be made through credit or debit cards using our Tithe.ly service or the Donate Now button above.

- Regular monthly pre-authorized credit card payments or bank account debits. Please contact our envelope Secretary (envelopes@ourlord.ca) for registration information.

- E-transfers to envelopes@ourlord.ca may also be made on a one-time or recurring basis. Please contact our envelope Secretary (envelopes@ourlord.ca) for registration information.

- Mailing a cheque payable to Church of Our Lord to our address: 626 Blanshard St. Victoria BC V8W 3G6

There are also a number of tax-efficient methods of donating to Church of Our Lord, that can provide additional tax savings:

- A donation of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds that have appreciated in value, where the capital gains tax is avoided. We can receive such securities directly, and settle them quickly and economically. Contact us for more information.

- Planned gifts involving life insurance, RRSP/RRIF’s, and charitable remainder trusts can be set up through your accountant, lawyer, or other advisor.

Bequests from your estate through your will is another way to plan future gifts. Your lawyer will have more information. Gifts to the church in your memory can also be made.

You may also direct your donation toward general church operations, special days, or a restricted fund. Our historic church buildings require regular maintenance, and major projects are initiated from time to time. Presently we are raising money for the restoration of our buildings, and a Story Fund has been setup for that purpose.
